All gifts made to the Women's Council Fund support the annual philanthropy project determined by our membership each year.

How does the Women’s Council annually support breast health?
Women’s Council believes that all women should have access to testing for early detection and treatment of breast cancer to ensure the best outcomes. Through member gifts and fundraising, they have provided access to the mobile mammogram unit for women in our community who are uninsured and unable to pay. NHFMC Foundation Women’s Council has committed to providing $10,000 annually to cover the cost of mammograms.
Is my membership tax deductible?
Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and your donation is tax deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
